SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The assistance point designed for intervention ordeals a high influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit the servicing of all prospects and increase entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
